Partnership w/ Livestrong

To whom it may concern,
Allow me to take a moment of your time to recommend Jerialice Arsenault and her group for
their continued support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Great Castell Kayak Race has
grown from a sincere yet humble beginning in 2003 where they raised $680 to an amazing
accomplishment in 2008 where they raised $11,000! And while the funds are greatly appreciated
for the fight against cancer, it’s also equally impressive with the vigor this group shows to
further our mission during this event.
I had the honor to attend this race and saw firsthand how enthusiastic and organized her team
was. It’s no small feat to host a formal dinner with (very successful) auction and then turn
around in the morning and welcome dozens of kayakers and musicians for an equally impressive
event. And yet through it all there was such a pervasive positive energy that it seemed like no
work at all.
I would also like to add a personal recollection of Jerialice and her commitment to her
community. She was instrumental – and adamant – about getting the people in rural Texas the
cancer information and support they need. Through many emails and phone calls she worked
with our resources, as well as enlightened us on their needs when limited communication and
resistance to change can be true barriers in getting proper care. She’s dedicated, persistent, and
enthusiastic, all the qualities one needs to making things happen.
As she progresses into her next ventures I hope you’ll feel as positive about her abilities as I do,
and I have no hesitation recommending her and the group she represents.
